Campfire Christmas is an upcoming new, original movie in Hallmark’s Christmas in July programming event. According to the official synopsis, Peyton’s (Anderson) parents have decided it is time for them to retire. Meanwhile, they will be selling the summer camp they have been running, where so many memories have been made.

However, they decide to host one final Christmas in July celebration, as was always a beloved camp tradition, for all their alumni and their families. Peyton is happy to reunite with her friend Beckett (Bowyer-Chapman), who is now a Broadway star. She is also thrilled to spend time with now-married camp sweethearts, Janice and Dave, as well as Chris.

However, she is definitely less than excited to see her former boyfriend Thomas (Bleu) who broke her heart when he ended their relationship after high school. Meanwhile, as the friends spend time together during the traditional outdoor camp activities, crafts and Christmas pageant rehearsals, they reconnect and reminisce.

In fact, Peyton, Thomas, Beckett, Janice, Dave and Chris help each other take stock of where they are in their lives right now. This also allows them to gain insight into what paths they wish to take next in their happily ever after lives.

Matt Hamilton (Turner & Hooch, North To Home) and Alec Santos (Rise and Shine, Benedict Stone, Virgin River) play Dave and Chris.
