In this movie, a “Christmas Around The World” theme party. Two adventurers find true love in the town they live.

Everyone loves a little Christmas mystery. In Hallmark’s Open By Christmas, Nicky (Sweeney) finds an unopened Christmas card from a high school secret admirer. This sends Nicky and her best friend Simone (Durance) in search to find, and most of all, thank the anonymous author.

Hallmark’s Open By Christmas premieres on Friday, November 5, on the Hallmark Channel.

Hallmark’ Channel Spoilers – Alison Sweeney Tells Fans Open By Christmas Still Filming

The Hallmark Channel may have just announced the first batch of Countdown to Christmas movies. However, the filming elves are still at work. On Wednesday, Alison Sweeney went to Instagram to share her exuberance over her latest Christmas movie. Moreover, she did so on set, because they were just wrapping up filming.

Thanks to her soap experience, flying through dozens of pages of script every day is no big deal. Soap stars are used to the fast pace of Hallmark filming. What did the Days star have to say?

“I’m so excited to celebrate with all of you my Christmas movie update – Open By Christmas is premiering on @hallmarkchannel Friday November 5th. It’s been such fun to work with @brennanelliott2 – he’s fabulous! – & also my new friend, the gorgeous & talented @durance.erica ! We’re still on set filming… I’m so looking forward to seeing it all put together. 🎄❤️🎄”

Her co-star, Brennan Elliott shared a bit about his own character in his Instagram post. After sharing he “rarely played a character like this,” he also shared his feelings about being in this latest movie.

“Truly blessed to of been able to be a part of such a sweet, fun, heartfelt and beautiful Christmas story! You are all in for a treat with this one fans! A character that gave me a bit of a tear in my eye when I wrapped filming and had to say goodbye to him as well as this great crew!! This wholesome and brilliantly written story is a journey I think all you fans will enjoy!”
