Vanessa Mathison Returns To Social Media Post Divorce From Cameron Mathison

When the news hit that Cameron Mathison and his wife, Vanessa Mathison had gotten divorced, Hallmark and GAF fans were shocked.

The couple had recently announced their split on Instagram to let followers know they are going their separate ways. While the news was surprising, it hasn’t taken Vanessa long to return to Instagram.

Former Hallmark and current General Hospital star Cameron Mathison and his wife of 22 years, Vanessa Mathison, recently broke the news that they had split. The news came via Instagram to let fans know they were going their own separate ways.

However, for the first time since their split, Vanessa has returned to Instagram to make her first post-divorce post. She shared several photos on Instagram with the caption, “Life… messy, complicated, and beautiful.”

Her followers could scroll through eight photos in her Instagram post, many of which were in black and white. Most of the images revealed her wearing a bikini and looking beautiful. Some photos had previously been posted by Vanessa in June, where she wrote the caption, “First real summer since my breast explant.”

In the latest photos, Vanessa, 57, also posted a white rose and a clip of pool water. Another slide revealed a woman from behind, surrounded by butterflies, with the caption:

Trying to heal, while trying to grieve, while trying to live, while trying to dream, while trying to smile, while trying to give love, while trying to be love.

Followers send support to the former model

Soon after Vanessa posted the images, followers sent her love and support. Meanwhile, the top comment was from her ex-husband Cameron, who sent her a series of red heart emojis. Others commented on her grey hair, which she had proudly worn for some time, with fans leaving hashtags like “silver fox,” and “silver vixen.”

One of her followers wrote in a comment, “It’s challenging but the encouraging part is the [sic] you know yourself so much better now! You know who you are and that makes the future exciting!❤

Another commented, “Beautiful inside and out! I wish you so much Love and Happiness!”

Meanwhile, the hundreds of comments sent Vanessa their love and support as she enters this new time of her life as a single woman.
