The When Calls The Heart cast is devastated over nearly losing one of their own, an is asking for Hallmark fans’ help to raise money.  Mamie Laverock is currently in the hospital on life-support after a tragic accident, and her parents need help with her unexpected medical expenses. 

WCTH fan fave Erin Krakow even encouraged fans to donate to the family’s GoFundMe campaign.  Keep reading for all the details.

The When Calls The Heart  – Mamie Laverock’s Tragic Accident

Mamie Laverock debuted on Hallmark Channel’s When Calls The Heart in 2015, she played the part of nursing student Rosaleen Sullivan for the first few seasons.  Then in 2023 Laverock brought Rosaleen back to the series for the anniversary episodes. 

Since appearing on When Calls The Heart the talented actress also booked some roles on The Hollow Child, A Series Of Unfortunate Events, and Hallmark Channel’s Wedding Of Dreams.

Mamie Laverock’s mom Nicole Compton explained on the GoFundMe page that she took her 19 year old daughter to the hospital on May 11th. 

It’s unclear why she was originally going to the hospital, but somehow while Mamie was there she was taken out of a secure unit and fell from a fifth floor balcony. 

The details are a bit murky, which is understandable because the family an the hospital are keeping a tight lid on things (most likely due to legal situations).

When Calls The Heart – Cast Asks For Donations

Mamie’s GoFundMe campaign has already raised over $11,000 and is still climbing.  When Calls The Heart star Erin Krakow and other cast members have been sharing the GoFundMe on their social media accounts and encouraging fans to donate.

The latest update from Mamie’s mother Nicole Compton says “She sustained life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support,” Rob and Nicole continued. “We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time.”
