When Calls The Heart: Spoilers Reveal A Jack Wagner Hiatus
In late May, spoilers for the show came from the fact that Bill Avery seemed to be ailing with pneumonia. So Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks) had a look at him and referred him to Union City. Of course, he wasn’t keen on that as he had some problems on his hands. Anyway, after Molly Sullivan (Johannah Newmarch) also pushed him into it, he handed his will to Elizabeth and went. So, fans feared that he might not return to the show.
In early June, When Calls The Heart fans heard the tragic news about his real-life son, Harrison. When he passed away, he was found dead in LA in a car park. At the time of the headlines, it wasn’t clear how he had died. Nevertheless, he did have an addiction problem. So, it was with sadness that Hallmark fans thought that his death was drug-related. Obviously, Jack went back home to deal with the grief and details. So, WCTH fans feared once again, that he might not return.
When Calls The Heart Filming Updates From Jack
On July 22, Jack took to his Instagram and spoke about Harrison. In his caption, he said, “Thank you all so much for the love & support you’ve sent me, it’s helped me more than you’ll ever know🙏🙏.”
At the time, he was in an airport and a lot of background noise made it hard to hear him. However, the caption confirmed, “Excited to start S10 @wcth_tv #Hearties on @hallmarkchannel…” Additionally, he noted, “Again thank you all for the love, right back at ya❤️.”

Supportive, kind, and graceful as ever, When Calls The Heart star Erin Krakow popped up in the comments. She said, “Hurry up! Somebody has to bake the scones! 💓”
Then, Hallmark’s Emily Hutchinson wrote, “I love you Jack! You’ve been on my heart and I’m my prayers my friend ❤️ sending you love and light.” Naturally, Hearties also sent in their thoughts.
WCTH Fans React To Jack’s Return
When Calls The Heart fans seem happy to hear that “Bill” is returning to their screens. However, they also talked about Jack and his family. Many of them said that they still pray for Harrison’s parents, and their son Peter.

One commenter wrote, “Prayers for you, Kristina and your older son ❤️🙏🏼.” Then another one said, “Thinking of you and your family! Prayers for strength 🙏.”
