When Calls The Heart Creator Teases Season 11

When Calls The Heart (WCTH) wowed Hearties with its 10th season finale on October 15th. But because of that cliffhanger ending, Hallmark Channel fans have longed for news about season 11.

And now a new report hints that season 11 of When Calls The Heart just might come sooner than expected. Keep reading to learn what the show’s co-creator shared.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Co-Creator Teases Season 11

Soon after the When Calls the Heart season 10 finale on October 15, Hearties began their search for news about season 11. But the Hallmark Channel held back on an exact date. However, the co-creator of When Calls The Heart just offered a teaser.

When Calls The Heart co-creator Brian Bird made his statement on the Heart to Hearties podcast, according to TV Insider. And Bird shared that figuring out the right date for the season 11 When Calls The Heart premiere has become a topic for Hallmark Channel “conversation. We are hopeful that it will be sooner rather than later,” he teased. 

“However, as our partner Brad Krevoy says, we’re just happy to be on the air,” added the When Calls The Heart co-creator. “And we will land in Hearties’ homes whenever we can get them and whenever they’ll let us. It’s definitely an ongoing conversation right now.”

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Strike Impacts Season 11

But Bird also referred to the recently ended Hollywood Writers Strike as well as the on-going Hollywood Actors Strike. And the When Calls The Heart co-creator pointed out, “The strikes clearly dropped a bomb on the whole industry.”

As a result, the strikes “actually have some impact on that question,” said Bird with regard to the season 11 premiere. And he added, “It may or may not help us or change things. But we don’t get to make those decisions. The network gets to decide when they want to air it, so we will show up whenever they allow us.”

However, When Calls the Heart did receive an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA amid the ongoing actors’ strike for Season 11. As a result, that agreement could change the date originally set for the premiere.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Will Lori Loughlin Return?

And in the interim, Hearties can’t resist trying to figure out what comes after those stunning cliffhangers in the When Calls the Heart season 10 finale. But certain plot points seem clear.

First, When Calls The Heart revealed that someone came up to Lucas (Chris McNally) in Capital City. And second, Bill (Jack Wagner) searched for and found Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan (Kevin McGarry). But though Bill interrupted what looked like a key moment, he shared that he needed both Nathan and Elizabeth for something that impacted Lucas. 

And When Calls The Heart season 10 spoilers also have shown that Lucas will play a critical role in Season 11. However, the sight of Henry (Martin Cummins) appearing at the door of Abigail (Lori Loughlin) also got Hearties talking about the potential for the actress to make a comeback.
