When Calls the Heart star, (WCTH)  Erin Krakow stuck by her friend Lori Loughlin after her arrest for her involvement in the College Admissions Scandal. Many fans of Hallmark followed the example of Erin, who plays the role of Elizabeth Thornton in the show. Additonally, they missed the character that Lori played, Abigail Stanton. Well, Lori reprises her role as Abigail, but not in WCTH. Instead, she appears in the two-part premiere called When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas. It airs on CAG Family TV rather than directly on Hallmark.

Fans who hoped that Lori might return in Season 9 of WCTH might be a bit saddened that she appears in the spinoff. However, for many folks, it’s the start of a possible return in another season. News arrived that a judge cleared her travel to continue her career as an actress. With her appearing in When Hope Calls, it might mean some sort of crossover. After all, the show didn’t write her out of the series completely. She merely went off to stay with her ailing mom.

Actually, fans felt angry that he disappeared from the show because of Lori’s criminal actions. Well, the good news came that he also reprises his role in When Hope Calls. The announcement came from him on Instagram. He said, “excited to be part of When Hope Calls “A Country Christmas” 🎄episodes of Season 2. Cody & Abigail return💗 GACFamily @gactv Dec 18th.” Clearly, he seems delighted. But how did Erin react?

Taking to her Instagram, Erin shared about her bestie, Lori. You probably already figured out that she’d be thrilled about Lori filming again. She posted up a photo of herself hugging Lori. In her caption, she simply put, “💕.” That said it all really. How many words did Hearties need to know that she loves and cares for Lori? A lot of people reacted very favorably. After all, Lori did her time in jail and paid her dues to society.

When Calls The Heart fans know that When Hope Calls is about second chances and new beginnings. So, it seems rather apt that she returns to the show, albeit in a spinoff. One fan wrote, “Love it! …. ‘and the greatest of these is love.” Another fan commented, “Love how loyal of a friend you are.” Meanwhile, others say they can’t wait to see her back on their screens.
