Erin Krakow Shares ‘Scary’ and ‘Special’ Detail From Upcoming When Calls the Heart Season
Fans have been rooting for Erin Krakow’s brilliant character Elizabeth Thornton since she first showed up on screen in 2014.

In the midst of several romantic failures and would-have-beens, Elizabeth’s relationship with Nathan Grant blossomed.
It was such a slow-burn romance that when Nathan finally proposed toward the end of Season 13, fans requested that Season 14 begin with the wedding.
So far, we’ve learned that Nathan’s mother, and Elizabeth’s future mother-in-law, has been cast.
Actress Marilu Henner even recently confirmed that filming for her character’s scenes had started, another sign that Hallmark may be planning to give fans what they want.
Well, ahead of Season 14’s 12-episode debut in January, Krakow joined her fellow co-stars at the 2026 Hearties Family Reunion in Vancouver, Canada, on October 3.

Fans were quick to react to the news, with one pointing out that it wasn’t really a big surprise since Nathan had already proposed in Season 13.
“No surprise right!!!! Well we all knew that’s where it was going with the last episode of season 13, Nathan asked Elizabeth to marry him…. So no sweat!!!!” one fan commented.

After such a long wait, Elizabeth and Nathan deserve their happy ending. Erin’s apparent slip makes the upcoming season even more exciting, but I hope Hallmark doesn’t make Hearties wait until the finale to see the wedding!
