Krakow, who plays the role of Elizabeth Thornton, posted a photo of Abigail’s Cafe with Abigail’s late husband’s painting on the wall. Nobody knows what message Krakow wanted to convey when she shared this photo, leaving fans to wonder what it meant.

One fan hoped that Abigail will be back making pies in Hope Valley while another follower asked if Krakow’s post was a clue about Abigail’s return.

When Calls The Heart – Erin Krakow Greets Lori Loughlin A Happy Birthday

Krakow also shared a birthday tribute to her co-star and close friend, Lori. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend for life, with a heart twice the size of Abigail’s. Love you,” the actress said.

Other cast members of the show including Martin Cummings, Andrea Brooks, and Pascale Hutton, also commented and greeted the actress. Fans were also quick to respond and most of them asked for Abigail to return home to Hope Valley.

In a previous interview, Krakow believed that the show will welcome Loughlin with open arms.

“I love Lori and would be so happy to see her back in Hope Valley sooner than later. She’s obviously always in my heart, so that would bring me a lot of joy.”

When Calls the Heart creator Brian Bird also believes that the show is “a place of second chances.” He revealed that some viewers are wondering what will happen to Abigail’s character. Bird shared the same sentiments with fans that “Hope Valley should be an example of forgiveness and grace,” and this should apply to Loughlin.

When Calls the Heart season 9 is expected to premiere in the first part of 2022. The production of the upcoming season is underway. The cast and crew are in Vancouver, British Columbia to film the show. The Hope Valley town is located on the Jamestown Movie Set, which was built on the MacInnes Farm. Erin Krakow will return as Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton, Kevin McGarry as Nathan Grant, and Chris McNally as Lucas Bouchard.
