When Calls The Heart Spoilers – The Exit No One Saw Coming-Is Lee Coulter Leaving?
Towards the conclusion of the episode, Governor Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) presented Leland “Lee” Coulter (Kavan Smith) with an incredibly enticing proposition that could potentially lure him away from Hope Valley.
After Lucas’ plans for a resort fell through, the mayor of Hope Valley suggested the idea of constructing a national park instead, so it is a possibility.
Lee expressed, “I’m referring to something truly extraordinary… a sanctuary where wildlife and trees can thrive undisturbed, complete with trails for hikers and campsites for families.”
He acknowledged that although it may not be as financially lucrative as the resort, the local towns would still reap benefits, explaining further, “We will be safeguarding something of great importance.”
Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton) then chimed in, adding “We want our daughter Marigold ‘Goldie’ Elizabeth Coulter (Ellie Sweiss) and all the children of Hope Valley to inherit this kind of legacy.”

WCTH Spoilers – The Characters’ Future Up In The Air
Lucas was thrilled by the idea and made up his mind to follow through with it. However, he didn’t stop there. He also disclosed his intentions to relocate to Capital City, the very place where the governor’s office is situated.
Unfortunately, after the resort fiasco and the turmoil involving Jeanette Aucoin (Cecelia Deacon), doubts started to creep in among the press and voters regarding Lucas’ capabilities as a governor.
They even demanded his resignation-at Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) and Mike Hickam’s (Ben Rosenbaum) wedding that Lucas confided that to fix things he needed to be in Capital City.
To everyone’s surprise, Lucas then extended an invitation to Lee, asking him to join in the effort of getting the park up and running.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Lee And Rosemary Were Astonished
The reactions from Lee and Rosemary were nothing short of astonishment but the episode concluded before Lee accepted the offer, leaving his future in Hope Valley uncertain until Season 12 returns.
As of now, neither McNally nor Smith have revealed their plans to depart from the show, but ultimately, the decision may not be in their hands. Lee joined the show in Season 2 and instantly won over the viewers.
His contribution to Hope Valley was significant as he established a thriving sawmill following the destructive mine explosion.
Lee’s romance with Rosemary became a fan-favorite storyline, culminating in their wedding in Season 3 and the arrival of their daughter, Marigold “Goldie” Coulter, in Season 10.
WCTH Spoilers – The Show Wouldn’t Be The Same Without Lee And Rosemary
Fans cannot imagine the show without Lee, as his partnership with Rosemary is a favorite aspect of the show, not to mention a favorite pairing.
Moreover, in Season 11, Episode 5, Lee becomes the mayor after previously running for the position in Season 9 and losing to Hickam.
Hickam later resigns, clearing the path for Lee to take on the role; according to Smith, Lee embraces the opportunity as it aligns with his aspirations.
Sometimes, the manner in which things unfold is less important than the outcome itself, he explained, which can be very true in real life as well as in fiction.
When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Another Character Possibly Exits?
Lee and Lucas aren’t the only ones facing uncertain futures in Hope Valley after the Season 11 finale.
Angela Canfield (Vienna Leacock), daughter of Joseph and Minnie Canfield (Viv Leacock, Natasha Burnett), is considering attending a teacher’s college in Hamilton.The school focuses on training teachers for the visually impaired, which is perfect for Angela as she is blind.
While Angela is thrilled about this new opportunity, her parents are understandably worried about her moving so far away.
Fans will have to wait for the return of When Calls the Heart to find out what lies ahead for Lee, Lucas, and Angela.
