When Calls the Heart Jack Wagner Teases Hope Valley’s Romantic Future and a Looming Disaster

Hallmark Channel When Calls The Heart spoilers and updates reveal Hope Valley residents are in for some troubling times ahead.

Jack Wagner is revealing some information about a catastrophic event that will affect every character in Season 13 of the Hallmark Channel series, which is set to start production soon.

A Life Changing Event-Perhaps A Forest Fire?

“An event is on the horizon that will change lives for everyone, echoing recent occurrences in L.A.,” Wagner, who portrays Bill Avery, shares with TV Insider.

“This will serve as the disaster and challenge we encounter this year as a community in Hope Valley, and it unfolds quite rapidly. It seems we haven’t faced a situation like this in some time, where the whole community is at risk”.

Wagner continues, “but that appears to be the narrative we are set to explore and the challenge we will confront this year.” It certainly sounds like Jack might be teasing a forest fire that threatens the community of Hope Valley.

Nathan, Elizabeth, Allie And Little Jack Return In Episode One

The community will still feature Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) and Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow), despite their departure from Hope Valley in the Season 12 finale. Elizabeth took her son to Cape Fullerton for better treatment for Little Jack Thornton’s (Hyland Goodrich) diabetes.

They were accompanied by her romantic interest, Nathan Grant, along with his daughter, Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller), at the train station; however, fans need not worry, as they will return soon.

“They come back in the first episode,” Wagner shares, “and it focuses on their return and how life is changing for Little Jack. He is now dependent on [insulin], and how this will impact the town-what steps will we take to improve the medical facilities, etc.?”

A Romance Is Ahead For Bill Avery And Georgie McGill

Wagner is excited about the possibility of a romance with Melissa Gilbert’s Georgie McGill after she and Bill kissed last season; “They’re going to continue this, which I think is fantastic.

She’s wonderful-I haven’t been focusing on that at all in WCTH, so for me, it feels like reconnecting with Jack Wagner from the ’80s or ’90s,” the actor shares. “I realized that’s why I’m enjoying this so much; it’s like, ‘Wow, I’m bringing back my old charming romance character.'”

Wagner is certainly well-acquainted with romantic plots from his roles in The Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital, and Melrose Place.

Speaking of Bold & Beautiful, Wagner returned to the CBS soap in the June 16 episode, and there are five things the show must address during Nick Marone’s summer storyline.
