When Calls The Heart spoilers and updates tease that Paul Greene recently opened up about his friendship with Lori Loughlin. Both of them may have left the show but they have remained as close friends behind the camera.

In an interview with US Weekly, the actor said that he keeps in touch with Loughlin. He recalled how she helped him get through a difficult time in his life.
“When my mom fell and hit her head a few years ago and she was in a pretty bad place [and] we didn’t know if she was gonna make it, Lori was there the most for me during that time,” Greene shared.
“We were on When Calls the Heart at the same time, and then throughout everything that was going on, I stayed in touch with her just to check on her and see how she was doing,” he continued.

Greene played Dr. Carson Shepherd until May 2021. As for Loughlin, she was written off the show on season 8 following her involvement in the college admission scandal. Loughlin was released from prison in December 2020 and made her return to When Calls The Heart Spinoff, When Hope Calls in December 2021. She then booked her first movie following her legal drama. She’s set to appear in Fall Into Winter, her first movie with Great American Family and is set to air on January 2023.

GAF president Bill Abbott said it was an honor to be a friend of Loughlin. He added that the network is excited to work with her as they create “meaningful and memorable movies” that their viewers can relate to.
“I look forward to welcoming her back to Great American Family to anchor our 2023 winter programming slate,” Abbott added.

Elsewhere, Andrea Brooks, who plays the role of Faith Carter on When Calls The Heart, gave birth to her second child. In her Dec. 17 Instagram post, the actress shared a black and white photo of herself and her newborn. She revealed that her little one weighed 10 lbs, 6 oz., and his name is Levon.
