This makes it the network’s longest running original series, although a premiere date has not yet been announced.

    Get ready to celebrate, everyone! The network has revealed that its beloved original series, WCTH, will be back for an impressive thirteenth season!

    Additionally, they’ve also confirmed a fourth season for the family drama, The Way Home, which features time-traveling adventures.

    Fans will once again have the opportunity to revisit the charming Canadian town. The exciting news about Season 13 was shared during the Season 12 finale on March 23, 2025.

    Hearties Are A Special Breed

    “Hearties represent much more than just a fan base; they form a tightly-knit community, exhibiting the same loyalty and support as the beloved characters from Hope Valley.”

    Samantha DiPippo, Senior Vice President of Programming at Hallmark Media stated. “It’s a privilege to share stories filled with hope, resilience, humor, and romance that have touched the hearts of millions over twelve seasons and counting.”

    As for Season 13 of the show, there’s still no word on production details. However, we anticipate that the cast will soon return to Jamestown and the MacInnes Farm near Vancouver, Canada.

    What Will The Storylines Be In Season Thirteen?

    As Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow), Little Jack Thornton (Hyland Goodrich), Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry), and Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller) make their way to Cape Fullerton, the question remains. Will they settle in the city for Jack’s health, or will they head back to Hope Valley?

    With Little Jack’s grandmother, Charlotte Thornton (Brooke Shields), now managing a boarding house in Cape Fullerton, will Elizabeth choose to stay due to her son’s needs? Not to mention  her connection to her late husband, Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing)?

    Elizabeth And Nathan’s Relationship Will Evolve

    The relationship between Elizabeth and Nathan will continue to develop, along with their children. With Little Jack’s recent diabetes diagnosis, we expect that managing this chronic condition will feature more prominently in Season 13.

    These storylines will likely connect with Dr. Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks) and local pharmacist and newlywed Mei Sou Hickam (Amanda Wong).

    Additionally, we can anticipate more appearances from Edie Martell (Miranda MacDougall) and Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally). Although their interactions have been purely professional, we hope to see a hint of romance between them.

    Edie Sets Up Shop, Romance Blossoms For Allie?

    Edie seems to be establishing her presence in Hope Valley by sharing an office with Bill Avery (Jack Wagner). There might also be a budding romance between Allie and Oliver Garrett (Jacob Shoemay), but we’ll have to wait to find out.

    We know he will be around for at least another year as Nathan’s new deputy. We hope to see Bill and Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton) collaborate again to crack another case (Coulter-Avery Detective Agency, anyone?).

    We can expect to see more of Rosemary balancing motherhood, her newspaper duties, possibly another town play, her radio shows, and her relationship with Lee Coulter (Kavan Smith)!

    What Will Happen With The Canfields And The Hickams?

    How will Minnie Canfield (Natasha Burnett) and Joseph Canfield (Viv Leacock) manage with Angela Canfield (Vienna Leacock) off at college?

    Meanwhile, Cooper Canfield (Elias Leacock) is still in school and may find himself in trouble with Toby (Billy Christos, Jr.), so they will likely be quite busy. Will Mike Hickam (Ben Rosenbaum) and Mei choose to start a family?

    And what about Henry Gowan (Martin Cummins)? He has a successful hazelnut business, but will he keep advising Lucas Bouchard (Kevin McNally)?
