Filming on season 10 of the show started back in July of 2022 after the show was renewed in June. Talk about cutting it close. The cast and crew then wrapped their milestone season of filming in November of 2022.

During filming, Erin Krakow, who plays Elizabeth Thatcher, treated fans to photos of her and fellow cast members celebrating the wrap of the tenth season, a photo of her character walking down the road in her signature skirt, as well as some Tik Tok challenges she and Pascale Hutton took part in.

While Hallmark seems to be experiencing some changes behind the scenes, as well as producing less scripted series, they have been showing support for the series.

Daly hasn’t been the only one to show public support of the ongoing show. Erin Krakow also shared her happiness over Elizabeth and the gangs’ continuation.

“I’m feeling very grateful. I’m really happy. I’m very proud, excited to get to spend more time in Hope Valley with all of these people I really care about and it’s just mind-blowing to think about a decade of When Calls the Heart. It’s really pretty amazing. I’m really happy,” Karakow shared when discussing season 10.

As everything appears to be fine with the cast and crew, fans will just have to wait and see when their favorite series will return. At this point it appears to be Hallmark who is delaying the show’s return as they make changes to the media family.
