A notorious gangster comes to town and threatens to destroy the peaceful lives the town’s residents are accustomed to, and this is a different type of threat than they’ve faced before.

The gangster doesn’t sound to be your run of the mill con man, like what the townspeople have had to deal with on occasion before.

Hope Valley is in the 1920s now, and probably around 1923 in this episode-in America to the south, prohibition has been in place for three years.

And with prohibition came gang violence, bootleg liquor and lots of robberies-might this be a gangster fleeing consequences from there?

Elizabeth and Nathan, who previously intervened when Allie (Jaeda Lily Miller) made a daring decision, take a leap of faith.

Nathan hadn’t been so sure that Allie should know more about her birth father, Dylan Parks (Donavon Stinson) and she made a call to the prison in order to visit him. However, the next episode, the last episode of season eleven talks about a wedding celebration.

Might Elizabeth and Nathan’s leap of faith have to do with Allie and her birth father? Or might it have something to do with the wedding celebration?
