Now that Season 11 of When Calls The Heart (WCTH) has wrapped up, with the finale taking place on Sunday, June 23, Hearties everywhere are left wondering when they can look forward to Season 12. Not to mention what kind of drama will unfold!

When Calls The Heart Season 12 – The Who, What, When, & Where
After that cliffhanger from the Season 11, finale, Hearties everywhere are wondering what Mountie superintendent Andrew Hargraves (David Lewis) has to tell Elizabeth Thorton (Erin Krakow) about her late hubby, Jack Thornton (Daniell Lissing).
It’s hard to say. However, the good news is that WCTH, was renewed for Season 12 this past May, and production is scheduled to start this July.
While the cast for Season 12 has yet to be confirmed, fans can expect Krakow to return as Elizabeth, as well as Kevin McGarry (Nathan Grant), Chris McNally (Lucas Bouchard), Jack Wagner (Billy Avery), Kavan Smith (Lee Coulter), Viv Leacock (Pastor Joseph), Pascale Hutton (Rosemary Lee), among others.
As of this writing, there’s no information if Kayla Wallace will come back as Fiona Miller for Season 12.
The actress had been cast in Taylor Sheridan’s new series, Landman, and with conflicting filming schedules, Fiona was sent off canvas to help the Suffragette secure a women’s right to vote.
However, did return to Hope Valley for the Season 11 finale to be there for Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) and Mike Hickman’s (Ben Rosenbaum) wedding.
“WCTH”, Season 12 – What Fans Should Expect
Krakow and McGarry interviewed with TVInsider ahead of the Season 11 finale and teased what’s to come in Season 12.
McGarry hints about the news that Nathan and Erin get at the wedding and goes on to say, “You have to understand what the climax is at the end of this season. So tune in because I hope they’re able to deal with bad news and move forward.”
Of course, fans now know this “news” centers around Elizabeth’s late husband, Jack.
In terms of Elizabeth, Krakow states that in Season 12, she hopes Elizabeth can “… Loosen up a little bit and maybe be a little more silly or free or just maybe get to see a different side of Elizabeth and maybe that will come out of this new love she’s feeling.”
