If you are a When Calls The Heart (WCTH) fan, you may be wishing away the holiday season in anticipation of the premiere of Season 1. Airing on Hallmark on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 9 p.m., the network recently released some more information on Episode 1, and CTS has all the details.

Before we dive into WCTH, Season 12, Episode 1, it’s important to rewind a bit.

The cliffhanger has been ringing in Hearties’ heads everywhere for months, as Andrew Hargraves (David Lewis) had news about Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) late husband, Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing), off the cusp of her finally diving into a romance with Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry).

Of course, fans also enjoyed watching Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) and Mike Hickam (Ben Rosenbaum) tie the knot during the Season 11 finale and were happy to see Fiona Miller (Kayla Wallace) return for the nuptials. Will some questions get answered during the Season 12 premiere?.

WCTH, Season 12, Episode 1 Spoilers – Setting The Tone For The Season

As per the Hallmark Channel’s synopsis, WCTH Season 12, Episode 1 is titled ‘The Mountie Way’ and spoilers suggest that ‘change’ will be in the air for the little town.

Added teasers note that Elizabeth will start a new school year and receive something sentimental that will catch her off guard.

In addition, she’ll welcome some new students, including Little Jack Thornton (Hyland Goodrich), as well as Lily Watson (Chloe McKinnon), Dr. Faith Carter’s (Andrea Brooks) daughter.

Meanwhile, Oliver Garrett (Jacob Shoemay), a newcomer to Hope Valley and Mountie cadet will be trained by Nathan, while Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) asks Leland “Lee” Coulter (Kavan Smith) for help on a key project. In addition, Lee and Rosemary LeVeaux-Coulter (Pascale Hutton) make a milestone decision.

In addition, Elizabeth’s romance with Nathan has her growing closer to his adoptive daughter, Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller). Lastly, Angela Canfield (Vienna Leacock) starts to look at colleges, while the Canfields deal with the reality that she could be leaving soon.
