When Calls the Heart Season 14 Hints at a Possible Henry and Abigail Romance

After a seven-year absence, Abigail is set to return to Hope Valley-with Abigail’s return, might the enduring bond between her and Henry Gowen (Martin Cummins) evolve into a romantic relationship?

Should Abigail And Henry Move Forward In Their Relationship?

The beloved series When Calls the Heart is poised to delve into the intricacies of that relationship now that Abigail is making her return.

(In our view, it would be worthwhile for Abigail and Henry to at least give their connection a chance.) Despite a rocky start, over the years, Abigail and Henry have cultivated a profound bond.

However, just as they were beginning to navigate their feelings for one another, Abigail had to leave Hope Valley to attend to her mother’s needs.

Since that time, Henry has not pursued any romantic interests in the town, and we have yet to learn anything about Abigail’s romantic endeavors as well.

Could Henry And Abigail Just Have Been Waiting For Each Other?

Could it be that they have both been waiting for one another-only time will reveal the answer; when Swooon had a conversation with Erin Krakow (Elizabeth Thornton), she expressed her excitement regarding Abigail’s return.

Of course, we couldn’t help but mention Henry, and Krakow shared her thoughts on their forthcoming reunion, saying, “I mean, certainly, we hear Henry Gowen talking about her from time to time. I cannot wait to see that”-she went on to say, “I’m very invested as an actor and an executive producer on the show, but I’m also incredibly invested as a viewer. There are certain storylines that I am just chomping at the proverbial bit for. Henry and Abigail is one of them.”

Season Thirteen Is Just Beginning Now

Season 13 is officially starting, which means we might soon receive exciting updates regarding the romantic journeys of Henry and Abigail this season.

With a whole season ahead of us, there’s ample opportunity for things to evolve dramatically before Abigail makes her comeback next season.

If Henry and Abigail decide to embark on a romantic relationship when the moment is right, it would undoubtedly be the quintessential slow burn;  a love story that would be incredibly rewarding after all this time.
