Will be sooo disappointed if she picks Lucas!
I think the writers are trying to "casually" change the direction in which this show is going. They are introducing new cast members and eliminating old ones. They are implying secrets exist that will cause Elizabeth to make a decision about whom she loves and wants to start a new life with. They are also asking for public opinions before they through everyone a curve by bringing back Jack and/or Abigail. This will cause you to "tune in again next year." I would like to see some changes but would like to see some answers to some of the current outstanding questions before we jump into another "triangle." Nathan seems to me to fit into the plot more easily. Lucas is to "worldly" and will be off and running again as soon as her decision is made or will stay around hoping that the marriage will fail. I don't think she will chose either of them really. I think they will bring in a "new suitor" very soon and the triangle will be solved. Instant attraction kind of thing.
I like Lucas and I hope she picks him. I will be disappointed if she picks Nathan. Sorry, just my opinion.
I really don’t want Elizabeth to pick Lucas! I agree with Afanofthe show. Lucas IS TOO WORLDLY! I don’t believe he can be a good father to Little Jack. He barely even acknowledges him. I know picking another Mountie scares Elizabeth, but Lucas will never stay around for “the long haul.” I haven’t trusted him since he first appeared. There is just something unsavory about that guy.
I want Elizabeth to choose Nathan. She seems to have much more of an emotional connection with him than with Lucas. Lucas I feel would be a better friend to her than a relationship.
