Production Has Officially Begun

When Calls the Heart season 8 production is underway. Fans are excited about this and the cast is, as well. In fact, both Jack Wagner (Bill Avery) and Erin Krakow (Elizabeth Thatcher) have expressed gratitude for being able to return to work, and the set being made safe for everyone.

The executive producer posted on Twitter a copy of a script. We can see that the title is “Honestly, Elizabeth.” There is an episode number, but take that with a grain of salt. Many productions, including When, Calls the Heart, film out of order. It is possible that this episode will have Elizabeth finally making a decision between Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry)?

Hallmark Channel News – Other Speculations for Elizabeth Thatcher

Given the vague title, the love triangle might not be the focus of “Honesty, Elizabeth.” This is where punctuation would help a lot. Is it “Honestly, Elizabeth…” or “Honestly, Elizabeth!” or “Honestly, Elizabeth???” Each one conveys a different meaning. So, it could have nothing to do with the love triangle and could be about something totally different. Or her feelings could just get even more conflicted!

One clue that Brian offered was the reaction and statement he made along with the episode tweet. He wrote, “Uh… #Hearties… my heart is in my throat… and I can’t get it to go back where it belongs. Wow.”

Never mind that he used the word “heart,” let’s just look at his shocked reaction. It seems to suggest that Elizabeth might do something unbelievable or out of character. Or perhaps someone does something to Elizabeth and is the spunky and tenacious (but well-meaning) woman she is, it causes a surprising reaction.
