Elizabeth Thornton’s Decision
WCTH season 8 spoilers previously hinted that we could get a resolution to Elizabeth’s love triangle. Krakow posted on Instagram her character not wearing her rings and one photo showed Elizabeth wearing some bold skirts. These were a few clues, plus the actress shared on Twitter that there would be plenty of romance in new episodes. That speculation has been confirmed by Bird, who spoke to The Christian Post about the Hallmark TV show. He said that Elizabeth does choose between Nathan and Lucas in season 8.

Fans are divided on which man Elizabeth should choose. Some would like to see her with Nathan while others are rooting for Lucas. Brian wouldn’t give any clues on her decision. What he did say is that half the audience is going to be wrong. Love triangles are both good and bad in television shows. They provide a story without a clear-cut prediction. At the same time, not everyone will be happy with the final choice.

When Calls the Heart season 8 spoilers reveal that Elizabeth’s love triangle has gone on for quite some time. Some viewers have complained about this and Bird is well-aware of their feelings. He said, “Over the seasons, sometimes the hearties and other fans of the show feel we take the love stories and courtships a little too slowly. They want our characters to hurry and make a decision already. Well, season 8 delivers the goods in that category, and even though probably half of the audience will be rooting in the wrong direction, Elizabeth makes a decision. I’ll leave it at that, other than to say we could probably rename the town from Hope Valley to Love Valley this season!”
One thing that is important to remember that the purpose of any story — whether it’s a book, TV show, movie or anything else — is not the ending. It’s the story itself, the journey to get there, the victories and challenges the characters have to deal with on their way to their happy ending. Without the journey, there wouldn’t be much to celebrate at the end, would there? And there wouldn’t be much story to tell if Elizabeth made her decision immediately!
When Calls The Heart Season 8 Spoilers
Bird mentioned that the town should be renamed Love Valley in season 8. That leads us to believe that Elizabeth’s love story won’t be the only focus. There are other couples in the show and at least one budding romance. Fans won’t have to wait too long to see new episodes as season 8 premieres on the Hallmark Channel on February 21, 2021.
