When Calls the Heart season 8 is expected to premiere after the New Year. A special surprise was promised by both the Hallmark Channel and WCTH. The Christmas gift for Hearties was teased by Erin Kraków, who plays Elizabeth Thornton. She shared a video clip that explains all the exciting things to expect during the 2020 Christmas special. No WCTH Christmas Movie

There is no WCTH Christmas movie this year, which really disappointed fans. However, it is understandable considering COVID-19 shut down production. The new safety measures also make production slower, so it takes longer to get what is on film ready to be put on the air. When Hearties shared their disappointment on Twitter, the Hallmark Channel was apologetic. Then, the network teased a Christmas surprise for fans, and we have been trying to predict what it could be.

WCTH Season 8 Spoilers: Home For Christmas

Now, we know that there will be an encore presentation of Home For Christmas. It will air on Christmas night at 8 pm Eastern time on the Hallmark Channel. It will also be hosted by several cast members, so that will be exciting. Fans are hoping the actors will live tweet when the special airs, but we haven’t received confirmation of that yet.
