When Calls the Heart season 8 spoilers reveal that fans have already heard that Elizabeth Thornton’s (Erin Krakow) love triangle ends. That’s the good news, but we also have a piece of bad news to share. Keep reading to get the details.
Love Triangle Resolution Confirmed
WCTH season 8 spoilers confirm that Elizabeth is definitely going to make a choice between Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry). Even though some fans don’t like the prolonged pace of her making a choice, co-creator Brian Bird defended the slow-burn. Remember, it’s not just about what happens or who she picks, it’s about the journey.
WCTH Season 8 Spoilers: Decisions, Decisions
Some of the cast spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the new season. Krakow said that she is really pleased with how the love triangle has played out. At the same time, she totally understands why some fans are frustrated, but is proud of how they’ve told this story.
Elizabeth Thornton Waits Until Last Moment
When Calls the Heart season 8 spoilers reveal that we have the good news, now what is the bad news? Well, it turns out that Elizabeth won’t make her decision until practically the very last moment. McGarry explained, “She definitely makes a decision. It takes her most of season 8 to get there. She’s being true to her heart when she makes it… There are more red herrings in this season than a zoo… You think it’s going one way and then all of a sudden it goes the other way. But then it’s back to the other way. And it’s all over the place. … Don’t think that you’ve figured it out until the very end.”
When Calls The Heart Season 8 Spoilers
As for what else to expect, we are going to meet an African-American family. Joseph Canfield (Viv Leacock) and Minnie Canfield (Natasha Burnett) have two children. We will meet 12-year-old Angela Canfield (Vienna Leacock), who is visually impaired and has the gift of playing the piano. Then there is 9-year-old Cooper Canfield (Elias Leacock), who goes on an adventure with Elizabeth and Jesse Flynn (Aren Buchholz).
Also, Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) will find romance this season and Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller) will have a crush on someone. Nathan will have to deal with that even more in the future simply because Allie is growing up into a young woman. However, their bond will deepen when new episodes air.
What do you think of Elizabeth Thornton’s love triangle not being resolved until the end of season 8? Were you hoping for a quicker conclusion than that? Who do you think she is going to pick and why? When Calls the Heart season 8 premiers on Sunday, February 21 on the Hallmark Channel.
