Love Triangle Awareness

WCTH season 8 spoilers reveal that everything seemed fine when Helen got off the stagecoach and was introduced to Elizabeth. However, things quickly fell apart when Helen became aware of the love triangle. As a mother, she is protective of Lucas and wants the best for him. However, she also is a bit domineering and abrasive. She also took her displeasure about the love triangle out on Elizabeth and her writing.

Now, viewers know that isn’t true. Elizabeth just wants to make sure she makes the right choice. It’s not just her that will be affected by the decision. She also has a young son to think about. Although it is understandable why Helen might think her son is being led on, the approach that she is using is completely wrong.

Elizabeth Thornton’s Frustration

When Calls the Heart season 8 spoilers reveal that Elizabeth might be getting a tad frustrated. She already knows that Lucas and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) are both in limbo while she makes up her mind. She doesn’t need someone complicating things by firing accusations at her and finding ways to punish her while editing her manuscript. Elizabeth is a lady who keeps it together most of the time. However, everyone has their breaking point.

There is also the fact that if Helen keeps pushing and accusing the way she is, Elizabeth might just decide she doesn’t want that kind of mother-in-law and pick the other guy. We don’t think Elizabeth will base her decision just on that, but there is always that concern. Let’s face it, Elizabeth won’t be just marrying Lucas, she will be marrying his entire family. It might be time for Lucas to stop making excuses or justifying his mother’s behavior and tell her to knock it off… in the most respectful way possible, of course.
