McNally spoke to TV Insider about Lucas, Helen, and Elizabeth. He described the mother/son relationship as close, but the two haven’t seen each other in a while. It’s an overdue visit and we will learn a bit about Lucas’ mysterious past. It’s only natural to assume that Helen will have her own opinions about Lucas getting involved with Elizabeth, whether it’s positive or negative. However, the actor said that Lucas isn’t concerned — personally or professionally. In fact, he prides himself on being an excellent judge of character. So, he expects that his mother will respect and admire Elizabeth as much as he does.
