When Calls The Heart Season 8 Spoilers: Hope And Encouragement Teased, Co-Creator Teases What To Expect

When Calls The Heart Season 8When Calls the Heart season 8 spoilers reveal that the co-creator has opened up about what to expect when new episodes air. The Hallmark TV show has always been full of hope and encouragement. That theme is going to continue and executive producer Brian Bird thinks it’s more important than ever considering the difficult year everyone’s had.

WCTH Season 8 Premiere Date

As previously reported, Hallmark will air the season 8 premiere on February 21, 2021. However, you don’t have to wait until then to get a peek at what’s coming up. On Christmas Day, the Hallmark Channel will air a special preview trailer.

Huge Booster Shot Of Hope

WCTH season 8 spoilers reveal that Bird is optimistic that new episodes will be a “huge booster shot of hope” for viewers. He understands that this past year has been filled with a lot of frustration and loneliness. It’s been difficult for everyone and not always in the same way. But one thing pretty much every person can agree on is there needs to be some positivity and hope. Bird hopes that the new season will provide some of that. He told The Christian Post,

“When everybody else is serving up zombies, vampires, crystal meth dealers and dead bodies, we’re serving up hope, faith, love, grade, forgiveness and community.”

Devotional Available

Just in time for the holidays, as well as When Calls the Heart season 8, there is a devotional series to accompany the television series. Titled “When Calls the Heart to Christmas,” it is available for purchase now through BroadStreet Publishing Group.

Bird confirmed that we will see Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) make a decision between Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry). Even though some viewers don’t like how long and drawn out the love stories are, Bird defends the slow-burning timing. Of course, the show isn’t just about Elizabeth and we will learn what happens with the other beloved characters.

“We’ve always felt that When Calls the Heart was a ‘for such a time as this’ kind of show, not out of a sense of grandiosity, but because there are very few shows like it on television. There’s a reason the name of our town on “When Calls the Heart” is Hope Valley. Given the challenges we’ve all experienced this year, we’re praying that season 8 will be a huge booster shot of hope for everyone who watches —a vaccine against the frustration and loneliness of 2020.”

What do you think of what the co-creator had to say about season 8? Are you looking forward to seeing the Hallmark TV show give a glimmer of hope and encouragement after a difficult 2020? We will keep you posted with new developments and updated information as it becomes available. Remember, the season premiere is on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
