When Calls The Heart Spoilers: Allie Plays Matchmaker For Her Dad

When Calls The Heart spoilers and updates tease that Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller) will find ways to make sure that her dad finds a wife. In the show’s season 9 finale, she’ll tap Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) for some tips on how to become a matchmaker.

The video trailer showed Allie asking Elizabeth a favor so she could help her father find someone he could marry. Elizabeth is stunned by the request and asks Allie if that’s what her father wanted.

Allie admits that Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) didn’t specifically ask her to do that, which begs Elizabeth to ask the question about how Allie knew that her father wanted to marry again. During their conversation, Allie said that she thought her father would marry Elizabeth. Obviously, that didn’t work out so she’s now set her eyes on Dr. Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks). Elizabeth eventually tells Allie to just let her father decide whether or not he wants to get married again.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Nathan Grant And Faith Carter Pairing?

Allie isn’t the only one who thinks that Nathan and Faith have feelings for each other. In a recent episode, Molly Sullivan (Johannah Newmarch) told Florence Blakeley (Loretta Walsh) that Faith may be carrying a torch for Nathan.

A similar conversation took place between Faith and Molly and Nathan and Bill. Fans will just have to wait and see whether these two like each other enough to get into a romantic relationship.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Andrea Brooks Weighs In On Faith-Nathan Romance

Faith and Nathan shared an intense scene when the former treated the latter’s hand injury. Andrea Brooks, the actress who plays Faith Carter, wasn’t surprised at viewers’ reactions to that interaction.

“I saw those conversations [online after the episode aired],” she previously said in Facebook Live chat prior to the season 9 premiere.

“I remember when we were filming thinking that scene that people could potentially read into it,” she continued.

“I actually think that was just a nice, tender-hearted scene between two people who’d gone through something quite similar,” she said. “They’re both mending broken hearts,” she added.

Without dropping any spoilers, Brooks teased that “there’s always a potential.” She pointed out that Faith and Nathan share a lot of things, like being first responders. Plus, they also have a similar history, which could eventually lead both characters into each other’s arms.
