A Fun Roaring Twenties Jazz Party Turns Into Mystery-Solving-And Elizabeth’s “Enlisted”!
The sneak peek video shows Nathan and Elizabeth at a roaring twenties party, walking and talking as jazz music can be heard in the background and she is asking questions.
They discuss Toddy Davis (Robert Lawrenson) and Elizabeth asks, “So, Toddy –” Nathan tells her “yes, he’s an estate dealer, trades in illegal coins like the one found in in the mercantile. Elizabeth: Oh; Nathan continues, “it was part of a notorious train robbery, and Toddy may be the key to the case- Elizabeth- so who are you to Toddy?
Nathan tells her he’s a shady coin dealer- Elizabeth-and I’m your dame-he laughs, says yeah; Elizabeth-so we’re the bad guys-he nods and smiles and confirms they’re the bad guys for tonight.

Nathan says, “Elizabeth, I’m sorry-this is not how I pictured our evening going; Elizabeth-seeming a bit irritated, says “neither did I!” But then she brightens up and excitedly says, ‘but here we go! ‘
Will this plan actually succeed-we can’t help but feel that a significant burden rests on Elizabeth’s shoulders, especially since she lacks any formal training for this situation.
After all, she’s just a schoolteacher from a quaint little town; while we recognize her intelligence and drive, this is quite a tall order for her.
Though, to be honest, it would be a hefty challenge for anyone in her shoes-although knowing Elizabeth, she’ll pull it off!
