Spoilers for When Calls the Heart season 7 episode 7 is looking to raise questions about the famous love triangle. When Lucas invites Elizabeth to an evening event, to which she would really like to go, is this pointing to a stronger relationship with Lucas than with Nathan?

Hearties have been longing for Elizabeth to take up with one of her handsome beaus. It has been a while now, and while both charm her, she continues to be a single mom with baby Jack. Spoilers are now hinting something that pushes Elizabeth more towards Lucas than Nathan. This is coming up in episode 7 of season 7.
In the teaser trailer included at the end of this article, we see Lucas speaking to Elizabeth at the school. He is inviting our favorite school teacher to join him at a book reading in Union City. Even better, the author is Virginia Woolf. As this is an evening, out of town event, it would mean a stay over in the city, which is causing Elizabeth to take pause. What about baby Jack?

Elizabeth must now come to terms with her growing feelings for Lucas as they head out of town together. She first speaks about Lucas’ invitation with Rosemary, who encourages her to accept the offer.
Initially Elizabeth worries about her tiny son and considers not going, but Lee and Rosemary volunteer to look after a rather fussy baby Jack. This leaves Elizabeth free to head off for a night on the town.

While romance isn’t guaranteed to follow, CarterMatt is hinting that Elizabeth’s feelings for Lucas are growing. Would this be just the event to cement a relationship between them? Nathan, in the meantime, is struggling with his own emotions after hearing the news.

While all this is happening, Jesse and Clara are adjusting to their newly married life and are sharing a home together.

Elizabeth and Nathan are meant for each other.
I think Elizabeth has attraction to Lucas but in the end will realize Nathan is the best fit for her AND baby Jack. I think Lucas’s ambition and free spirit will push Nathan out of his comfort zone to step up. Time will tell. I hope its Nathan that wins her heart.
I find Nathan really boring and I don’t want to see another Mountie in her life to replace Jack. Lucas has way more passion and I think he has a softer side we have not fully seen yet. I think Elizabeth will bring this out…Lucas is more stable and seems to have better chemistry with Elizabeth. He can see cheeky ; I think he would do anything for her. I don’t find Nathan near as handsome, Lucas has really nice eyes. Remember Jack and Elizabeth clashed when they first met…Lucas could really surprise us, ! Nathan seems to have baggage.
Do we really want to watch her deal with a replacement Mountie for Jack and have her get her heart broken again… no one can replace Danial Lissing. The on screen chemistry between Lucas and Elizabeth seems fake and not genuine. Lucas gives Elizabeth spark! I am not an Ally fan either…she is kind of annoying and not the best actor! I think Elizabeth needs a fresh start.
I meant to say that Nathan and Elizabeth’s on screen chemistry seems fake in the post below! The show would be much more interesting with a Lucas!
