When Calls The Heart Spoilers: Season 9 Official Filming Start Date

Where Calls The Heart Hearties have known for some time that filming for season 9 of “When Calls the Heart” would be starting during July. However, those longing for the new season to begin will be happy to hear an official date for the start of filming of their favorite show. Executive Producer Brian Bird has sent a tweet to confirm the actual start date of filming in British Columbia.

‘Where Calls the Heart’ Season 9 Starts Filming

Brian Bird, executive producer of “When Calls the Heart,” sent out a tweet to fans on Sunday. He included a .gif of a budgie escaping from an explosion, and gave the official date for the start of filming for season 9.

In his post, he mentioned that July is a big month for celebrations, including Canada Day on July 1 and US Independence Day on July 4. However, he suggested Hearties save a few fireworks for July 21 – “Season 9 Begins Day.”

While we will have to wait awhile for the new season to air, it is reassuring to know that work will begin soon. It is also good timing for the cast and crew, as it gives them quite a bit of time to work before the cooler temperate hit across the province. There is also the fact that by starting this month, it will also allow for a Christmas Special to be done by the end of this year, should they decide to do so.

‘Where Calls the Heart’ Season 9 – Let’s Hope For Behind-The-Scenes Teasers

As the filming gets started, if might be fun if some of the cast post teases along the way, but of course, this isn’t guaranteed to happen. They will all have a lot of work to do, but hopefully some of the cast members will think of their fans and give us the odd fun hint.

So far, production on “When Calls the Heart” has managed to keep things pretty much on a hush-hush basis, but surely we will get a few teasers along the way once filming starts. However, fans are happy to look forward to more of Elizabeth and Lucas’s relationship, but also to find out more of the storyline for the rest of the cast.

As filming starts on July 21, there is plenty of hope that the new season of “When Calls the Heart” will premiere somewhere in the start of 2022. Are you looking forward to the season 9? Let us know in the comments below!
