One thought among ‘WCTH’ viewers is that Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton) and Lee Coulter (Kavan Smith) will welcome the young man into their home. Rosemary finally confessed to Lee her fear that she will never be able to have children. Unable to return to Hope Valley, Abigail will give Rosemary and Lee permission to adopt Cody.

Another thought and Hearties are split on this possibility, is that the role of Abigail will be recast. If that is the case, Cody and Abigail will return to Hope Valley together and life will go on as before.

The widow led the town through the toughest of times. When the coal miner’s widows were threatened with eviction, Abigail stood up to Henry Gowan (Martin Cummins) to ensure the women and children wouldn’t be turned out into the streets with nowhere to go.

It took perseverance on Abigail’s part to earn Cody and his sister Becky’s (Ali Skovbye) trust. The siblings reluctantly came to live in Hope Valley when Becky took ill. Abigail nursed the ailing youngster, providing a loving home for the children.

Rosemary and Lee are not strangers to Cody, but would he be able to accept yet another upheaval in his life? This could prove an interesting storyline for the Coulters and Cody as he moves into his teen years.

There were some clues about Rosemary and Lee starting a family during the second episode of ‘When Hope Calls,’ the spinoff of ‘WCTH.’ While visiting Grace Bennett (Jocelyn Hudon) and Lillian Walsh (Morgan Kohan), Rosemary made a comment that may have gone unnoticed.

While staying at the orphanage run by Lillian and Grace, the orphans charmed both Lee and Rosemary. However, Mrs. Coulter seemed a bit overwhelmed by the children. Rosemary was impressed that the sisters could handle six children, she didn’t think she could handle even one child.

There could be another surprise in store for ‘When Calls the Heart’ viewers. Now that Rosemary has confessed her fears, ‘When Calls the Heart’ spoilers tease that the couple may seek out help to start their family. Rosemary may have an almost teenage boy and one on the way!
