Hallmark Channel spoilers and updates reveal the season twelve WCTH finale is almost upon us, with only two more episodes left in the season.

The finale airs March 23 and a promo photo has been released,  where Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) appears to confront Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry)-but does he?

The Finale Episode Is Titled “Must Be Gold”

Hallmark has already released photos from this episode entitled “Must Be Gold; there are all sorts of photos from a special party for Minnie Canfield (Natasha Burnett).

It  includes a curious one with Lucas, Elizabeth and Nathan Grant; hearties, does Lucas confront Elizabeth and Nathan, or is this something else? Check out the photo and preview what is to come-and, what is this episode about?

According to the official synopsis, “As graduation approaches, Elizabeth and Nathan plan for a happy summer together.

Lucas and Edie Martell (Miranda MacDougall)  race Rosemary  Coulter (Pascale Hutton) and Bill  Avery (Jack Wagner) to find the gold and the town plans a sweet surprise for Minnie.

Several Photos Released From The Party

Accompanying this synopsis is a treasure trove of photograph; the majority capture moments from the celebration honoring Minnie, however, one image stands out for many Hearties.

It features Lucas in front of a couple who are unmistakably Elizabeth and Nathan; while Elizabeth’s face is obscured, her distinctive bobbed hair and dress make her identity clear.

Nathan, on the other hand, is showcased with Kevin McGarry’s charming profile-the couple gazes at Lucas, but is he confronting them; absolutely not. Lucas appears to be smiling and in good spirits; could he have received some exciting news about this pair?

It certainly seems plausible, especially with the hints throughout the season suggesting that Elizabeth and Nathan might be on the verge of an engagement.

Chris McNally Speaks To Lucas’ Feelings For Elizabeth

Did the couple take this chance to tell Lucas, Elizabeth’s ex-fiancé, about their engagement news- it’s possible. With Elizabeth and Nathan potentially getting engaged by the end of WCTH Season 12, what should Team Lucas fans think about the Governor’s kind nature?

In an interview with Swooon last October, Chris McNally talked about his character’s feelings for Elizabeth, It’s clear he will always hold her dear.

Lucas has always prioritized Elizabeth’s happiness, so seeing her joyful with Nathan brings him some comfort; he’s glad for her, but it still hurts.

However, Lucas seems to accept that this is the way things are going; he is coming to terms with it and finding peace.
