When Calls The Heart Star Daniel Lissing and Fiancée Nadia Married!

Who says that quarantine can’t have a silver lining? Just ask When Calls The Heart alum Daniel Lissing, who is now married in part because of the quarantine mandate!

ET announced on Friday that Lissing and his girlfriend Nadia are now married but as it turns out, they actually were married earlier in the year, in California.

Apparently the pair decided to take action after they realized that their planned Bali wedding would be interrupted and disrupted due to COVID-19.

Daniel Lissing is a man of action!

According to the handsome and talented Lissing, they found the new plan, “an easy decision to make.” Since that time the happy husband and wife have been enjoying a honeymoon period apparently indulging in at-home facials, buying lots of presents, and like many couples dressing up for a romantic quarantine dinner.

As you might expect given the current isolating circumstances, Daniel and Nadia had a small ceremony which included two friends as witnesses. Daniel described the wedding as simple but meaningful and said, “It was our favorite moment. Ever.” He added that afterward, the two happily married newlyweds had a private celebration!

Will Daniel and Nadia Lissing have another wedding in the future?

By necessity, this ceremony was intimate and just for the two of them, but they are counting on going ahead with their previous plans once the current environment changes. Instead of the 2020 ceremony in Bali, they plan to have a bigger to-do with all of their family and friends in 2021.

It will be in Bali after all, likely in May or June 2021. For now, the content pair are using their downtime to go over their initial plans and add to them as they see fit.

Daniel previously said he would create a special song for the ceremony, so that part will probably stay!

In a funny circumstance, when Daniel talked to ET last month, Deidre Behar asked if he was married but he denied it. There was no ill intent on his part, it turns out that while they had already told some people the news, there were still a few left to tell and he didn’t want them to hear via the television!
