When Calls The Heart Star Erin Krakow Opens Up On Episode 100

When Calls the Heart will soon air season 10 of the popular Hallmark series, along with episode 100. Lead star, Erin Krakow (Elizabeth Thornton) recently opened up about what Hearties can expect from the amazing 100th episode after season 10 airs on July 30, 2023. Hearties cannot wait for When Calls the Heart season 10 to premiere, but they also have another aspect of the hit series to look forward to. It may seem like yesterday when fans first watched season 1 of the feel-good series, but season 10 will also feature the show’s 100th episode. TV Line asked Erin Krakow what Hearties can look forward to, not only in season 10 but also from the milestone 100th episode.

The series lead star and executive producer said, “It’s just a huge event in Hope Valley,” adding:

It is a celebration of our community, and we get to see everyone enjoying a special new feature in Hope Valley. I will say maybe that’s when we can expect to see some family. And yeah, it won’t feel like a departure from our story and it won’t feel like a departure from the way we typically tell stories. We didn’t want to divert at all from the stories that we were telling this season. So it will very much feel like a cohesive part of the rest of this season.

Storylines in Season 10

While Erin said we can look forward to the 100th episode, she also spoke about what fans can expect from the rest of season 10. She explained that they have “no shortage of interesting storylines in season 10,” adding that this is a real testament to their writers.

Krakow continued, saying they have told a lot of stories over the years. However, there is still so much more to tell, and the writers have “done an incredible job crafting season 10. Hearties can expect friendship, romance and drama, along with “sweet, funny moments with the kids.” Erin gushed that season 10 is “just a very full, exciting season.”

What about When Calls the Heart season 11?

As fans already know, When Calls the Heart was renewed for its eleventh season back in February. Speaking of the renewal, Krakow told TV Line, “It’s huge news,” adding:

We’re thrilled, and it’s like everyone can kind of just relax and enjoy Season 10 and not have to worry about getting season 11 because quite frankly, we’ll already be filming it.

All this excitement over the hit Hallmark series certainly makes for a fabulous summer for Hearties. Hopefully, Erin will offer us some teasers about season 11 along the way.
