When Calls The Heart spoilers, news, and updates tease that fans are wondering which characters they can expect to see in the upcoming season of the show. Fans can rest easy knowing that most of the core characters are returning for WCTH Season 10.

Erin Krakow will return as her character, Elizabeth Thornton. Of course, When Calls The Heart won’t be complete without Elizabeth’s suitors. Chris McNally (Lucas) and Kevin McGarry (Nathan) will also return to Hope Valley.

The original cast members that will be joining the three lead stars are Loretta Walsh, Johanna Newmarch, Hrothgar Mathews, Jack Wagner, Martin Cummins, Ben Rosenbaum, Pascale Hutton, and Kevan Smith.

Fans can also expect to see Amanda Wong, Natasha Burnett, Viv Leacock, Andrea Brooks, and Kayla Wallace once again. As most of the original cast members return for the latest season, one fan favorite won’t be appearing on the 10th season.

Fans have been asking for the show to bring Lori Loughlin back. Viewers may recall that her character was written out of the show after she got involved in the college admission scandal. She reprised her role as Abigail on When Call The Heart’s spinoff, When Hope Calls, which was aired on a different network, the GAC Family.

“She was cast by GAC Family, a wholly separate cable network not affiliated with Hallmark Channel or Crown Media Family Networks,” Hallmark Channel clarified.

When Calls The Heart writer and executive producer Elizabeth Stewart teased that “the course of true love never did run smooth!” She also added that Rosemary, who fans know loves to be in control of things, will face a lot of “shock and surprises” in season 10.

“I don’t think it’s safe to assume anything when it comes to love and relationships, especially in Hope Valley!” Stewart added.
