“When Calls The Heart’s” Chris McNally Adds Insight Into Lucas & Jeanette’s Dynamic

Hearties have been buzzing since When Calls The Heart (WCTH) Season 11, Episode 4, ‘Along Came A Spider’ aired this past Sunday, April 28, and the show did not disappoint. The very mysterious Jeanette Aucoin (Cecilia Deacon) arrived in Hope Valley, and very quickly, the drama amongst the townsfolk was stirred.

While WCTH fans don’t know much about Lucas Bouchard’s past, and Jeanette is part of a time Hearties weren’t familiar with him, so many question marks remain about this interesting woman and what role she plays in Lucas’s story.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Chris McNally Reveals More Details About Jeanette & Lucas

During Heart Beats, TV Insider’s WCTH after show, actor Chris McNally revealed some insights into Lucas and Jeanette.

He was asked if Lucas trusts Jeanette and if Bouchard feels uncomfortable around her as she represents his past or if it is because he knows what she’s like.

McNally states it’s “both”. He adds that Lucas knows Jeanette well and doesn’t trust her, and he doesn’t fully believe the reason she is in Hope Valley.

Chris also states that Jeanette being around Lucas is reminded of the life he used to live, and as he’s made progress, the “blast from the past” is inconvenient for him.

Is Jeanette in Hope Valley to invest in his new resort and if not, what kind of scheme does she have up her sleeve? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

“WCTH” – Chris McNally Reveals If Lucas Bouchard’ Will Pursue Elizabeth ThatchernThis Season

Another major part of WCTH, Season 11, Episode 4 was the chat Lucas had with Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry). Lucas made it crystal clear he wants to see Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) happy.

This had Hearties everywhere wondering if he’d pursue Elizabeth this season. Chris notes that Lucas would love to be “more than friends” with Elizabeth, but her happiness is his top priority.

McNally admits that it’s “tough” for his character, as he still burns a torch for Ms. Thornton.
