When Hope Calls When Hope Calls season 2 spoilers to reveal that fans have been asking about the spinoff. It aired one season on Hallmark Movies Now, the network’s streaming service. That was in 2019 and there haven’t been any updates on if it will continue. A fan asked about it on Twitter and executive producer Brian Bird responded. When Calls The Heart Spinoff

When Hope Calls has only aired one season, which included 10 episodes. While WCTH is on the Hallmark Channel, its spinoff aired on Hallmark Movies Now in 2019. Despite the streaming service having a much smaller audience, people loved the spinoff and have been asking for more ever since the season finale.

When Hope Calls Season 2

Now that When Calls the Heart is in-between seasons, fans are looking for something to watch. So, it would be the perfect time for the network to bring viewers new episodes of When Hope Calls. Season 2 might be happening, even though it’s been two years since the show last aired a new episode.

Executive Producer Gives Optimistic Update

When Hope Calls season 2 spoilers to reveal that a fan asked on Twitter about an update on the spinoff. The Twitter user wrote,

“I wish @hallmarkchannel would make season two of #WhenHopeCalls to go with this book. Such a lovely series and still no announcements #Hearties #Hopefuls #Meandyou4season2 @HMNow”

Bird, who serves as executive producer of both shows, responded with an update that sounds optimistic. He responded,

“Stay tuned for news. We’re working on a plan.”

Not only that, but an executive for the Hallmark franchise retweeted it, which indicates there is a good chance of seeing new episodes in the future.

About When Hope Calls

Even though both shows target similar audiences, they are a bit different. For those that never saw When Hope Calls, it follows the journey of two sisters in an orphanage in 1916. The description of the show from the Hallmark Channel website states,

“When Hope Calls centers around sisters Lillian (Morgan Kohan) and Grace (Jocelyn Hudon) who open an orphanage in the 1916 Western town of Brookfield. As the two are caught between the traditions of cattle ranchers and the ambitions of a growing town, they strive to find romance and happiness while overcoming the challenges of helping the children in their care. Throughout their journey, they discover community, acceptance, and love as they create the family they always longed to have.”

In February 2020, the Hallmark Channel aired the entire first season and the show was recently added to the network’s website. That is another indication that we might be seeing season 2, and it’s possible it could move over from the streaming service to the Hallmark Channel.
