The countdown for When Calls the Heart (WCTH) Season 12 is on, as Hearties excitedly await the first episode of the new season, happening on the Hallmark Channel, on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET.

The show has dropped a new promo recently, which has fans reeling about what to expect and even touting that Season 12 may be the ‘best one’ yet.

WCTH, Season 12 was uploaded to the show’s official Instagram and gave fans a sneak peek at what to expect in Hope Valley.

Viewers watched (Erin Krakow) and Nathan Grant’s (Kevin McGarry) new romance teased, as well as the little town entering a new era – the 1920s (flapper costumes and all). In addition, new characters will also be introduced, so it seems that WCTH Season 12 is going to start on a very high note.

WCTH, Season 12 Spoilers – What Hearties Can Expect

While there’s still a lot, we don’t know about Season 12, there are some things fans are aware of, which includes the addition of actress Melissa Gilbert, from Little House on the Prairie fame. She’ll be joining the cast in a recurring role, playing a character who is linked to another person from Hope Valley.

In addition, Nathan and Elizabeth’s romance will also take center stage, and there’s a possible new relationship for Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally). Who will the lucky lady be, someone from Hope Valley or potentially a newcomer? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
