Luckily, after his plane crash, Mick (Treat Williams) has been found alive. However, his close brush with death has him thinking about his future with his former wife, Megan (Barbara Niven). His relationship with Evan Kincaid (Robert Buckley) is getting deeper, although his efforts are ending up rubbing Mick the wrong way. As the final episode of season 5 of Chesapeake Shores airs on October 17, there are plenty of loose ends to tie up. In a preview for the episode, hints are revealed of a major announcement from Mick and Megan, who were planning a trip together at the end of the last episode. On top of this, a romantic moment is teased between Connor and Margaret. Meanwhile, Kevin seems to be comforting Sarah.

It looks like both of Abby’s potential love interests, Evan and Jay (Greyston Holt) will make a play for her attention in the season finale. On Jay’s part, he tells her his feeling for her, while Evan finally gets around to asking her out on a date. According to the teaser, she may have already made up her mind, as she leaves a mysterious voicemail message for someone. She tells the recipient that she has been thinking about them, saying “Maybe we should give this a try?” However, we need to know which of her beaus she is calling.

Hallmark Channel News – Will Chesapeake Shores Be Renewed For Season 6?

As yet, the Hallmark Channel hasn’t made an announcement as to whether Chesapeake Shores will be renewed for season 6. However, we shouldn’t worry too much, as when season 4 ended in the fall of 2019, we had to wait until July 2020 to find out if it would be renewed. Also, it is possible that the news could even be revealed during the season 5 finale, as Hallmark did with When Calls the Heart.
