Will Kemp and Reshma Shetty have been spending some time in London, England, filming the upcoming holiday movie, Jolly Good Christmas. The movie is set to debut during Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas 2022 programming event.

The announcement was made by Samantha DiPippo, Senior Vice President Development, Programming at Crown Media Family.

“We can’t wait to transport our viewers “across the pond” for this special, holiday adventure,” DiPippo said. She added that they are thrilled to have been able to feature famous sites in London. Moreover, DiPippo said that the story is set against the unique backdrop of London at Christmastime.

Plot of the new holiday movie

According to Futon Critic, the plot of Jolly Good Christmas relates to David (Kemp), an American architect who recently moved to London for a prime opportunity in a prestigious firm. However, with only three days until Christmas, he still has to buy a gift for his girlfriend, who also happens to be his boss’ daughter. However, while out shopping, David crosses paths with Anji (Shetty), a professional shopper, who raises an eyebrow over his choice of a gift card. When David and Anji meet again, he decides to hire her as his personal shopper in the hope of finding the perfect present.

Meanwhile, due to a series of unexpected events, David finds himself on a wild adventure across London as Anji helps him search for the perfect gift.

Will Kemp plays David, and is known for his roles in The Christmas Waltz and Spinning Out. Meanwhile, British actress Reshma Shetty plays his personal shopper, Anji. She is known for her appearances in Odd Mom Out, 30 Rock, CSI: Miami and Blindspot.
