However, so far, there is no official news on whether the popular Hallmark Channel series will return for the tenth season. For this reason, many fans were expecting to hear that the series has been renewed for season 10. However, while watching the emotional season finale, no announcement was made. After Hallmark Channel tweeted to thank fans for live-tweeting during the season finale, fans were quick to comment. One replied, writing, “This Season Finale was THE BEST ONE EVER!!!! thank you @hallmarkchannel for everything! #WhenCallsTheHeart is seriously the best show on tv! About the possible season 10

While the news isn’t out yet, Hearties do have plenty to look forward to if the series does get a season 10. The finale revealed Lucas (Chris McNally) romantically proposing marriage to Elizabeth (Erin Krakow). This could certainly lead to a beautiful wedding in the tenth season.

Other good news came as Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) told Lee (Kavan Smith) that she is pregnant. Meanwhile, they have been longing for a baby for years and had almost given up hope of becoming parents.

Moreover, a love triangle seems to be developing between Mei (Amanda Wong), Faith (Andrea Brooks and Nathan (Kevin McGarry). Hearties know from experience how much Hallmark enjoys their love triangles.

After the season 9 finale aired, When Calls the Heart executive producer Brian Bird took to Twitter. He wrote, “So as you can see #Hearties… there are still plenty of stories to tell and finish in Hope Valley. I’m #allinforseason10… how about you?”

He ended his message, writing, “Feel free to express yourself as loudly as your heart allows.” This certainly gives us hope.

As for Hallmark Channel itself, the channel did hint that season 10 is coming. In a tweet on May 23, they wrote, “We will definitely let the #Hearties know about season 10 when we have more information to share. Thanks for your patience!”
