We knew that it would only be a matter of time until we got to see this hottie on the small screen again. The Young and the Restless alum Brooks Darnell, who is best known for his role as Dr. Nate Hastings, has just landed an exciting new role! And we’ve got all of the details that you need to know right here.
According to reports, we will soon get to see Darnell in a new Hallmark Christmas movie. Yes, it might be the beginning of the fall season but some fans are already looking forward to the holidays!
Darnell will be starring in a new film called A Christmas Miracle and from what we can tell so far he’s in good company. That’s because his co-stars include Tamera Mowry-Housley and Barry Botswick. The movie will premiere on the Hallmark channel on November 14 at 9 p.m. EST.
Young And The Restless News – Darnell’s Start In The Television Industry
Before he became an actor, Darnell was someone who was heavily invested in sports and at one point even became a model. His first step into his career began when he competed in an International Modeling and Talent Association competition in New York City.
And while things did get off to a good start, Darnell does admit that he had a rocky road to stardom at first. That’s because his friends gave him a very hard time about his new ambitions.
He told Soaps.com in an interview back in 2018, “I would leave basketball or football practice because I’d have to go to Cleveland [for a job] and I would get made fun of. Even coaches got in on it. People would make fun of me and I got in fights over it.”
Young And The Restless News – Reluctant To Tell Friends About His Acting
Nevertheless, Darnell does tell that while it was a defining moment for him, he was reluctant to tell his friends that he wanted to pursue an acting career.

“I was embarrassed to tell anybody that’s what I wanted to do because it was so taboo. Where I went to school was pretty much like Friday Night Lights; everybody in the city knows you because of your athleticism.”
It’s a good thing that things worked out for him! As always, more detailed Spoilers and Breaking news will appear here on Celebrating The Soaps!
