Inspired by her autistic brother, and her love for horses, Sophie volunteers at Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship Center. Here, she assists young riders, while caring for the animals. Meanwhile, Sophie was nominated by her volunteer coordinator, Tess, for going above and beyond what a typical teenager might do.

In the eighth episode, Sophie is recognized with a pre-Bat Mitzvah celebration in the barn. Moreover, Lacey and her team throw Sophie a unique “Barn Mitzvah,” reflecting the teen’s passion for giving back, and her love for horses. Moreover, she experiences a memorable coming-of-age celebration.
