ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has solved one hospital problem but in so doing he has created another. When he fired Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) as chief of staff, he enraged the employees. They saw this as a low form of betrayal and idiocy.
But he argued that it was necessary due to her actions bringing a lawsuit against the hospital. A potentially costly and damaging lawsuit. Cyrus has wiggled his way onto the board and is making all sorts of enemies and bad decisions since assuming the helm. Now that he has gotten rid of his “problem” what is his solution? Who will he hire as chief of staff?
General Hospital Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht Is Made Chief Of Staff Again?
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was once chief of staff and she brought tons of turmoil and angst to the halls at GH. Just like Cyrus! These two would get on like gangbusters given half a chance, don’t you think? She obviously has a thing for bad boys, as illustrated by her fascination and obsession with General Hospital Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Plus, Cyrus is proving to be a tyrant and a difficult boss. Those exact words were used to describe Liesl’s run at the top of the hospital food chain. These two could make beautiful music together as they speak the same language, that of intimidation and fear. Together the hospital staff would either shape up or ship out.
General Hospital spoilers – Cyrus Renault May Not Have Much Choice
The word has gotten out that Cyrus is an ill-tempered man and an even worse boss. Who in their right mind would want to work for him? That’s the beauty of having Liesl take the job, some would argue she’s not in her right mind!
Beggars can’t be choosers and in the case of filling the chief of staff job at GH, there may not be a lot of takers. But Liesl loved running the place and being in charge. Can’t you totally see her jumping at the chance to run roughshod over her minions once again?

She would be someone Cyrus could respect and trust because she’s just as distrusting and sneaky as he is. It sounds like a match made in heaven (hell?) to have these two in the top spots. What do you think GH fans, will Cyrus make Liesl an offer she can’t refuse?

I always loved Dr "O" when she was on. You never knew what kind if drama she'd cause. Bring her on, at least there will be interesting storylines. Something other than Michael and Willow staring at Wyle, Maxi staring at Peter, Spinelli staring at Maxi, Chase and Sasha staring at Michael and Willow! Lord! its boring enough to made a grown man gouge his eyes out!

I would love to see her back, but I hope she is not coming back as being someone evil, her daughter will be home soon with a baby in tow, hope this time around she can be a good mom and nana

I would like to see Liesl come back. I think that it would be good if Cyrus made her the chief of staff at GH. I am not sure how he could do it but I am sure that Cyrus could get bring Liesl back somehow. Liesl really liked running GH. Then Liesl could be free and back as a doctor again.
I would look forward to this match!!!! Could be fun and add much interest to story lines!
Oh yeah. She an awesome actress. Would love to see her come back and help sink Peter August for the dirty deeds he has done.

Liesl would be good. I think at first she’ll see Cyrus as her savior. She will not allow for the drugs to go through the hospital with her name as boss n her daughter working there.
