Jennifer Aniston Mourns Her Father John Aniston’s Death In Sweet Instagram Tribute

Jennifer Aniston feels heartbroken over the death of her father John Aniston. But the actress decided to take a different approach to honoring her late father.

And so rather than the usual celebrity statement issued via a public relations rep, Jennifer turned to Instagram.

Jennifer Aniston Pays Tribute To Late Father John Aniston 

The death of a parent inevitably feels heartbreaking. And for a celebrity like Jennifer Aniston, suffering the loss in the spotlight makes it even more challenging. But after her father John Aniston passed away at 89, Jennifer showed the grace for which she has become known in her Instagram tribute.

Because the actress wanted to remember her father in images as well as words, the 53-year-old star shared photos of herself with her dad ranging from her infant days to recent pics.

And she began by addressing John directly. “Sweet papa…⁣ John Anthony Aniston,” Jennifer wrote. “You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew.”

The actress noted that the fact that her father passed away on November 11 meant something special to her. And Jennifer also shared her relief that he suffered no pain in his passing. “I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now 🕊️.”

Jennifer Aniston’s Friends J Lo And Reese Witherspoon React

However, Jennifer ended her post with the sweetest sentiment. And she wrote, “I’ll love you till the end of time💔⁣. Don’t forget to visit 💫🤗❤️.” But the actress did not mourn alone. And friends including Jennifer Lopez (J Lo) and Reese Witherspoon commented on Aniston’s Instagram tribute.

For instance, Lopez wrote, “😢❤️🙏🏼 sending you love and strength.” And Reese shared, “Sending you all my angels 🕊️. I love you Sister. ❤️” Other celebrities reacting to Jennifer’s post included Kaley Cuoco, who shared an emoji ❤️‍🩹,  and Rob Lowe, who wrote, “Sending you so much love ❤️.”

Last June, Jennifer paid tribute to her father at the 2022 Daytime Emmys. He won the Lifetime Achievement Award for his role as Victor Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives. And his daughter praised her dad for his 30 years of dedication to Days Of Our Lives, noted ET.

“For over 30 years, his dedication to that show has gained him respect and admiration of his fellow actors, deep friendships and thrilled millions of fans around the world,” she said. “His career is literally the definition of lifetime achievement.” In addition to that role, John appeared in guest roles on shows including The West Wing, Gilmore Girls, Star Trek: Voyager, and Mad Men.
