The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge’s Decision Has Major Implications – Thomas Fired Or Retained?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is teased to hold the final card. He will decide if Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is allowed to remain at Forrester Creations.

Of course, Ridge has a clear conflict of interest. He is Thomas’ father, has been enabling his overgrown child for years, and told Atkinson’s character during the aftermath of the remarriage fail to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) that he was going to speak to Eric Forrester (John McCook) about removing him from the family business.

It is hard to find any Thomas supporters on B&B, and his enemy list is enormous. So maybe Thomas could have Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) serve as legal counsel as payback for a favor owed.

Devoted fans recall that Thomas was held hostage by Justin in the recent past. That happened during the storyline where Spears’ character took advantage of Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) cover-up of what he thought was a hit-and-run incident.

Justin took control of Spencer Publications while Bill and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) were in jail. He had no intentions of getting either man out, believing his time arrived after being Bill’s fixer for years.

Thomas became entangled in the storyline and was held in a cage in Spencer Publications’ basement until Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) rescued him. Thomas decided not to report Justin to the police and worked with Ridge to broker a deal where Bill’s former best friend came to work for FC.

B&B Spoilers – Status Quo Or A Compromise Arrangement?

Ridge could choose to forgive his son’s latest transgression and put him on a trial period. That would forward the status quo and seems an unlikely outcome based on the egregious nature of Thomas’ actions in framing Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

A compromise arrangement could have Thomas wait in Limbo. He would not continue working at FC as he had been and would not be fired. But that outcome seems less likely than maintaining the status quo.

It is hard to argue against firing Thomas. His lack of trustworthiness alone makes him a hard employee to keep.

But Hope’s lack of confidence in her co-lead designer means he likely has to move off Hope For The Future. While Thomas could design for other areas of the company, his reputation is in tatters. Plus, how will Brooke feel about seeing him in the workplace?

But cutting Thomas loose means that he will swim alone. That has often proved problematic. But this is the problem Ridge, in particular, has enabled for years. So, consequences will result no matter what happens on B&B.
