The first prequel movie, Flowers In The Attic: The Origin, Part 1: The Marriage took Lifetime viewers by storm. Viewers saw how the romance between a naïve young woman, Olivia, and the handsome Malcolm Foxworth wasn’t what it seemed. In fact, Olivia soon learned that she had wed a monster. Now, Flowers In The Attic: Part 2: The Mother is heading to Lifetime.

Part two of the Flowers In the Attic prequel will reveal Olivia getting her revenge on her husband Malcolm. In fact, she is ready to claw at the viper to keep her beloved family safe.

According to the synopsis on the official IMDb page, the second movie will reveal Olivia (Jemima Rooper) and Malcolm (Max Irons) growing in “unexpected and questionable ways.” Despite the circumstances and the drama, Olivia is trying to give her children the best life possible. In fact, she goes to every possible length so that the children experience joy and safety.

Meanwhile, this isn’t easy, as Foxwell Hall is an evil place, hiding horrific secrets. In fact, Malcolm’s twisted obsession over a family secret splits their relationship even more. Moreover, as the secret unfolds, so too does Olivia’s panic.

Flowers In The Attic: Part 2: The Mother is based on the 1979 novel by V.C. Andrews. The movie is directed by Declan O’Dwyer.
