According to the synopsis, the plot of Dying For A Crown sees Lydia Campbell and her daughter Elle relocating to Florida. The mother and daughter end up in the Los Angeles area under mysterious circumstances. Meanwhile, Lydia has become the Assistant Principal at Bellview High, where her daughter Elle is a senior.
The move is considered a reset for both the mother and daughter, but they also want to live a better life. In fact, they will do anything to achieve this, including some of the most cherished traditions. Meanwhile, Elle has one goal in mind – she wants to become homecoming queen and with Lydia by her side, she will stop at nothing to get the crown.
