Lifetime’s Ripped from the Headlines movies never disappoint fans of a good thriller. In fact, this weekend, the new thriller movie, The Disappearance of Cari Faver debuts on the channel. As with other Ripped from the Headlines movies, this one is based on fact, which can only add to the excitement and shock of watching the film.
The Disappearance Of Cari Faver on Lifetime
According to The Futon Critic, Cari Farver (Rebecca Amzallag) and Dave Kroupa (Zach Gilford) have just started dating. However, when Cari starts sending him demanding texts, he quickly breaks up with her.
However, Cari disappears, but she continues texting and stalking Dave. On top of this, his former girlfriend, Liz (Alicia Witt), also receives nasty messages. It seems like she knows exactly where he is at all times, including when he sees Liz. This really creeps him out. Meanwhile, Nancy (Lea Thompson) keeps heading to the police, asking them to find her daughter. Eventually, the police do start paying attention and what they uncover shocks them to the core.

Alicia Witt stars as Liz and is known for her roles in Modern Persuasion and Fuzzy Head.
