It has been just 2 weeks since the couples married. They have 6 weeks to decide if they want to stay married or get divorced.

Taylor meets up with two friends for drinks. They talk about Brandon and what she initially thought of him. She thought he was cute but after the wedding and the honeymoon, he was mad at her for catching him snoring on her diary camera. He ignored her after for a while but then he changed his attitude. Once again, he became aggressive with the cameramen, she tells them.

Austin makes Jessica dinner after her long day at work. She is happy to come home to a meal and its edible. He tells her can do the dishes when she offers. They work together in the kitchen.

Katie sits to talk to her mother about Derek. So far so good but he keeps telling her when he has to go to the bathroom and that annoys her that he is too comfortable. Meanwhile, Derek meets with his dad. They talk about marriage and how he wants to create more of a connection. They are onto the working phase.

Meanwhile, Katie’s mother tells her that Derek seems like a decent man and she should focus on him. Katie shares that he told her he most likely isn’t going to be in love with her within the next few weeks. There probably isn’t better out there, her mother tells her. Katie gets mad. Her mother just doesn’t want her expectations to be too high.

All of the ladies meet for a picnic while the guys meet at a bar for drinks. Meka shares that she and Michael are now in the same bedroom after being separate on their honeymoon. They have a lot of work to do but they are trying. Brandon doesn’t show up to meet the guys. They think he is at work. Mindy shares that Zach is still distant and not living with her. Meka tells her to give it time.

Zach tells the guys that he isn’t living with Mindy. Derek thinks this is hard because how will they get to know each other. Meanwhile, Austin is zoning out because Zach never makes a solid point.

Katie tells the girls how Derek shared that he won’t be in love with her within the next couple of weeks. Mindy tells her to take it day by day.

Jessica talks about how Austin makes less than her but she seems motivated so she is okay with that.

Brandon shows up at lunch to meet the guys. He talks about how he is sure they saw he get mad preview but he and Taylor are doing well. Taylor tells the ladies how she and Brandon have reset their return since the honeymoon. Things are going well and she can see why they were paired together.

Michael and Meka go spice shopping. They each choose their own. Michael realizes he needs to be open to change.

Mindy meets with Zach at the dog park. They talk about how their week is going. He asks her how she felt about their meeting with Pastor Cal. She tells him she is trying to stay committed and have patience. He tells her he is trying and that he is in this and wants to take it slow, starting on their friendship. She reminds him that they are married. They plan to meet tomorrow.
